Brun is a fairly deep valley west of the Perlin Sea, formed by the work of the Brun and Florin Rivers who end up on the perlin sea. the valley is heavily forested, and an important logging tradition has perdured here. Even though the trees growing do not usually yield the enormous timbers necessary for ship’s masts or ribs, logs for construction, firewood and wood charcoal are produced in the valley and are used in the rest of the kingdom of Karth, and to the west to the kingdom of Dalh in the Roduran Mountains.
